This raises the overall productivity of thescanner - most visible when measured in completed-scans-per-hour. Whencompared to scanners without xDTR, the productivity gains increase asresolutions go higher and higher. Independent tests, performed by Buyer's LabInternational (BLI) in UK, confirm that the Contex SD4490 offers asignificant speed advantage without compromising on image quality.Brian Honeycutt, Product Manager Wide Format Solutions with Contex, says"For years, inches per second (ips) has been the de-facto measurement forperformance in large format scanning. While this measurement might look goodon paper, the real-world speed is much slower.
The only relevant way tocompare scanning speed is with a specific document size, over a specificperiod of time - much like the wide format printing industry. That's whywe're now measuring and documenting the number of D/A1-size drawings scannedover an hour, so customers can clearly see the productivity they can achievewith a Contex scanner with xDTR.Contex continues to list inches-per-second in their specifications aswell, so that large format users have two distinct specifications for easycomparison of Contex scanners to other scanners. The following Contex seriesmodels include the new productivity specifications: SD4400, HD3600, HD4200,HD5400.About Contex:As the world's largest developer and producer of large format imagingsolutions, Contex leads the market with innovative technology and advancedscan and copy software applications. Sold worldwide in over 80 countries,Contex solutions are recognized in a wide range of industries forreliability, value, high performance, and superb image quality. The "Nature boy" Rick Flair is doing something that nobody thought he could do. Flair was given the greatest send off in pro wrestling history and he has managed to ruin it.
WWE did a perfect job of pushing Flair as one of the greatest wrestlers to ever live by letting him retire at WrestleMania and then thanking him the next night on Raw. It is hard to think of any wrestler ever leaving the buisness in such a high note. It is sad that his legacy is now being destroyed in TNA.Flair has shown that he is willing to do anything for money. He broke his promise to never wrestle again by appearing on the pointless Hulk Hogan tour in Australia. Just when everybody thought that Flair had done enough to ruin the perfect retirement he has agreed to wrestle on TNA Impact on March 8th. I can only imagine most of the WWE locker room wondering how he could have thrown such a perfect send off away.I understand that Flair has made his own legacy and is entitled to do whatever he wants in wrestling. The problem is that Flair could have gone out at Mania in a legendary match. At this point it is evident that Flair will more than likely wrestle his last match in TNA. One cannot argue that retiring at Mania is much better than leaving the buisness in a promotion that cant get a consistent 2.0 in ratings..
